Primary Function/Purpose
The Psychological Testing Diagnostician at InMindOut Emotional Wellness Center LLC provides both direct and indirect client care in the Psychological Testing and Biofeedback/Neurofeedback departments. The role also offers the opportunity to provide therapy services under clinical supervision.
Psychological Testing Department
Direct Client Care: Administer psychology tests.
Indirect Client Care:
- Review analytical data and psychological test scoring.
- Compile data and draft comprehensive reports.
- Answer queries regarding psychological testing.
- Scan and save files to EHR and Teams.
- Maintain inventory and supplies.
- Communicate issues to the Clinical Supervisor.
- Attend weekly meetings and support client outreach initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Biofeedback/Neurofeedback Department
Direct Client Care:
- Utilize biofeedback, neurofeedback, and QEEG brain mapping in assessments.
- Administer complete intake questionnaires.
- Acquire quantitative EEG data for processing.
- Execute neurofeedback treatment plans.
- Monitor client responses and coordinate treatment adjustments.
Indirect Client Care:
- Report writing and evaluation of sessions.
- Maintain detailed records of training sessions.
- Collect and track service payments.
- Coordinate with client therapists regarding care issues.
- Maintain and inventory neurofeedback equipment.
- Attend training and staff meetings.
Clinician Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic assessments for individuals, families, and groups.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic services.
- Develop and review treatment plans with clients.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Engage in marketing events as needed.
- Complete required documentation and paperwork.
- Research and advocate for additional client resources.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must possess a high school diploma or GED with minimum 6 months of healthcare or related experience. Preferred candidates have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. LPC-A Certification is required with a timeline for full certification within 1 year of hire, along with a valid state Driver’s License.
Technical skills include proficiency with EHR, Microsoft Office, and basic office equipment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and administrative skills are essential, with bilingual English and Spanish seen as a plus.
