What You’ll Be Doing:
- Safety First: Actively participate in site safety meetings, adhere strictly to site-specific requirements, and champion safe work practices. Promote safety interventions to maintain a culture of safety and quality.
- High-Tech Fieldwork: Utilize advanced survey equipment including total stations, GPS, and laser scanners to collect highly accurate field data. Ensure equipment calibration and select the appropriate tools for each project phase to deliver precise surveying results.
- Hands-On Surveying: Conduct layout, construction, and as-built surveys. Support excavation, backfill, and the installation of underground utilities, foundations, roads, and subgrade materials. Provide precise layouts for critical installations such as anchor bolts, structural foundations, piping, equipment placement, and steel structures.
- Technical Reporting: Generate detailed survey reports, sketches, and comprehensive field notes. Support and manage data deliverables using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software. Maintain accurate records of field data, calculations, and site conditions to ensure project transparency and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Professional: A minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in civil/industrial surveying, with a desire to contribute to a growth-oriented company.
- Qualified & Skilled: A civil engineering/geomatics diploma or equivalent educational background. Proficiency with GPS and total station technology is essential.
- Ready for the Job: Possession of a Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including overtime, is required.
