inhire.io is recruiting on behalf of DataArt Poland for a Senior Program Manager. The client is a large international airline, operating in a highly complex, mission-critical environment. They manage a broad portfolio of digital platforms encompassing customer-facing channels, operational systems, and backend integrations that enable global booking, servicing, and loyalty capabilities.

Position Overview: Senior Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to spearhead delivery governance for a strategic Airline account. This account currently manages four active workstreams, with potential for a fifth to launch soon. This role demands strong leadership to standardize delivery processes, enforce robust governance, and ensure predictability across the entire portfolio.

You will collaborate closely with the Delivery Manager, Project Managers, and Engineering Leads to implement and maintain consistent methodologies across all workstreams. As the primary escalation point for delivery risks and impediments, you will design and enforce internal delivery standards that support both operational excellence and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring strict alignment with commercial obligations.
• Define and implement a unified reporting framework to track progress at both portfolio and individual workstream levels.
• Establish stringent control over delivery standards, ensuring adherence to the agreed definition of done and quality metrics.
• Take ownership of internal delivery processes and re-engineer them for enhanced efficiency and scalability.
• Deploy project management tools and techniques to standardize tracking of velocity, capacity, and burn rates across the account.
• Create and maintain a central repository for all delivery and process documentation.
• Identify and proactively manage critical dependencies across workstreams and with external client stakeholders.
• Formalize the escalation process, clearly defining thresholds for engaging the Delivery Manager or client leadership.
• Monitor risks related to scope, resourcing, and timelines, proposing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Act as a crucial bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-stream synchronization to ensure architectural alignment and prevent silos.
• Support commercial growth by preparing delivery roadmaps for new or expanding workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software delivery, with at least 5 years managing complex enterprise programs.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to effectively engage with engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience applying Agile and Waterfall methodologies pragmatically.
• Solid understanding of commercial delivery frameworks (MSAs, SOWs, SLAs).
• Proven ability to manage risk, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
