Job Details

Forklift Operator Material Handler 3rd Shift

Shift time: 11pm-7:30am, Sunday to Thursday

Rate: $17.50/hr with a $3/hr shift differential

Job Summary

This role is responsible for moving products around the warehouse, safely operating a forklift, preparing pallets for shipping, and assisting with shipping/receiving and bottle packer duties as needed.

Essential Job Functions

  • Load and unload trailers manually or by forklift.
  • Verify shipping documents and follow procedures.
  • Receive product and store in the proper location.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete inspection forms.
  • Move material safely, avoiding damage.
  • Ensure production receives the correct material for processing.
  • Assist as a backup for shipper/receiver and bottle packer duties.
  • Follow housekeeping, safety, environmental, and quality protocols.
  • Document and report non-conformances immediately.

Educational And Skills Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; two years job related experience preferred.
  • Good and safe forklift operation skills with required certification.
  • Basic computer literacy and good documentation skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
  • Pass CVI training and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
