Junior Data Engineer at Ingénierie électrique au maroc

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to help build and maintain scalable data pipelines, tools, and infrastructure. This role is perfect for early-career candidates who enjoy working with data, automating processes, and supporting analytics teams in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to ensure availability, quality, and reliability.
  • Support integration of data from multiple sources into data warehouses or lake environments.
  • Contribute to the development of data models, schemas, and metadata documentation.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams on data requirements.
  • Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and support performance tuning.
  • Help automate repetitive data processes using scripts or workflow tools.
  • Document processes, data flows, and operational procedures.

Requirements

This is a Junior Level role, suitable for candidates with 0–2+ years of experience.

  • Experience or education in data engineering, computer science, information systems, or related fields.
  • Basic proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar scripting languages.
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipeline fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of databases, APIs, or data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a remote-first environment.
  • Effective communication skills in technical and cross-functional settings.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
