The Mission

TARDIS squad enables the data journey between origination and consumption for CTO MT members (and affiliates) to have access to qualitative, up to date data insights in PowerBI Dashboards by working efficiently with highly skilled engineers, employing the latest technologies available in ING.

Your day to day

Responsibilities
  • Requirements analysis: Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, high-quality, correctly translated into design, and maintained/adjusted as needed.
  • Support the Product Owner and squad in backlog management by prioritizing and translating epics into features and user stories.
  • Connect business requirements with product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Process analysis: Analyze current situations, identify problems and root causes, and provide clear process designs.
  • Information analysis: Collaborate with Business representatives and Product Manager to analyze input, provide feedback, produce and iterate on PowerBI mock-ups until finalized.
  • Analyze information needs, investigate data quality, propose improvements, and produce/iterate on reports.
  • Work Agile as part of a multidisciplinary squad with IT Business Analysts and IT DevOps.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure stable and maintainable solutions delivered to users.
  • Create test cases and test functionalities/changes made by Dev Engineers.
  • Actively contribute to the analysis needs for automated feeds (e.g., onboarding/consuming new data sources).
  • Identify business needs, implications, and dependencies, and build stories accordingly.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • Experience: Over 6 years of relevant project and banking experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a functional affinity and knowledge of the Data domain.
  • Stakeholder management: Excellent communication skills, ability to build bridges between stakeholders, present proposals convincingly, challenge, convince, and foster team agreement.
  • Basic/good understanding of data feeds, data models, and process modeling (BPMN).
  • Experience with the testing process: understanding of different testing types (progression, non-regression, INT, UAT), ability to elaborate test scenarios for INT/UAT, and perform testing if necessary.
  • Familiarity with Release Management concepts (minor, major, release notes, etc.).
  • Project management abilities to support the Product Owner.
  • Practical experience working agile in cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Experience in supporting the rollout of modules/solutions.
  • Natural seniority to impact squad and chapter direction.
  • Proactive problem-solver, capable of making sense of complex, ambiguous information.
  • Passion for data.

Tech stack/ knowledge:

  • Mandatory: Affinity for TECH/IT, Microsoft stack (SSAS, SSIS, SQL, PBI), AI enthusiast.
  • Foreign languages: English (advanced) - Mandatory.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in an Economic or IT related field.
