Job Overview

Designs and delivers advanced data science, machine learning, and Generative AI solutions to extract actionable insights from large, complex structured and unstructured datasets, supporting evidence-based policy and decision-making. Adapts and extends analytical techniques to develop classification, prediction, credit decisioning, propensity, and optimization models tailored to complex business problems. Leads end-to-end analytical delivery across the data lifecycle, including data preparation, modeling, deployment, monitoring, and governance. Deploys and operationalizes models into production environments, establishing automated, repeatable analytical processes and MLOps/ModelOps practices. Translates complex technical findings into clear, decision-ready insights through advanced visualization, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Capabilities/Experience

• Experienced in cloud analytics platforms such as Azure (preferred) and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in usage of different data platforms such as Data Warehouse and Data Lakes.
• Proficiency in visualization tools such as Power BI and Python/R visualization libraries.
• Proficiency in SQL and analytical tooling such as Python/R.
• Experienced in NLP/NLU modeling such as usage of BERT and PaLM; Generative implementation and Responsible AI expertise.
• Experienced in distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
• Proficiency in Ops and Governance practices, including the use of Git, MLOps/ModelOps tooling, and data governance platforms such as Collibra.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in working and coordinating remotely.
• Strong problem-solving and solutions engineering mindset.
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Preferably with a Postgraduate qualification in a data or analytics-related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience delivering advanced analytical solutions.
