Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Science Intern who is passionate about analyzing data, building models, and solving business problems using quantitative methods. This role emphasizes practical application of data science techniques in real-world consulting scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets from business use cases
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis
- Apply statistical methods to uncover patterns and relationships
- Build basic predictive models and evaluate their performance
- Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights
- Translate analytical findings into business recommendations
- Collaborate with analysts and consultants on project deliverables
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and results
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis
- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Understanding of statistics and probability concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data science projects or case studies
- Familiarity with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn
