Job Summary

Infowave Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Freelance WordPress Developer based in India to support ongoing website development, customization, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with WordPress, work independently, and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
  • Build and modify themes and plugins as per project requirements.
  • Convert Figma / XD / PSD designs into responsive WordPress pages.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, errors, and security issues.
  • Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools.
  • Perform regular updates, backups, and maintenance.
  • Communicate progress clearly and meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (freelance or professional).
  • Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with custom themes and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, etc.).
  • Understanding of website performance optimization and security.
  • Experience with Git or version control is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Reliable internet connection and availability during agreed hours.
