Overview

Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated, and proactive Senior SQL Data Base Administrator with strong interpersonal and technical skills. The role involves developing guidelines and procedures, ensuring best practices in administration, maintenance, security, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade SQL Server instances.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including queries and stored procedures.
• Design and implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Ensure database security and manage user access and permissions.
• Maintain documentation for configurations and procedures.
• Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and automation of routine tasks.
• Support high availability solutions such as clustering and mirroring.
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.
• Collaborate with development teams for schema design and optimization.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must be a U.S. person and can work remotely from any location within the U.S. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 7 years of Information Technology experience, with a minimum of 6 years in SQL DBA, is required.
