Role Description for Senior Client Partner - Cloud & Infrastructure Services

The Senior Client Partner is responsible for all client interfaces within an assigned account scope, collaborating with their manager (Group Practice Engagement Manager) to build an account plan and manage client relationships. This role typically handles a single account or part of a large account with a P&L of $50M+.

  • Client Relationship Management and Business Development: Manage client relationships, build a portfolio up to $50M+, and own the opportunity management cycle from prospect to close.
  • Client Delivery Assurance: Collaborate with all delivery stakeholders to ensure the fulfillment of all commitments to the client.
  • Account Planning and Governance: Create comprehensive account plans, including required relationships, opportunities to be pursued, and pricing decisions.
  • NA Business Development: Drive North America Business Development, building Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, solutions, and offerings to accelerate Cloud ecosystem revenue.
  • Consulting and Sales Lifecycle: Contribute to different phases, from consulting through the sales lifecycle.
  • Team Guidance: Guide various teams regarding proposal development, building the right pricing constructs, and advising on internal capability building and collaboration across the Account sales team.
  • Solution Shaping: Advise on opportunities to shape value-adding, winning solutions based on the changing market landscape and customer needs.
  • Industry Cloud Solutions: Work with internal teams towards building differentiated industry cloud solutions.
  • Strategy Participation: Participate in strategy building for the practice.
  • Analyst Relations: Liaise with analysts and related agencies in the positioning of Infosys services.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. (Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education).
  • 14+ years of experience with strong sales, relationship management, and account management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of interacting and building relationships with C-level client contacts.
  • Experience in driving large deals, with a proven track record of closing deals.
  • Experience in complex Cloud solution design for customers.
  • Experience in a large Cloud solution discovery and assessment engagement.

  • Knowledge of industry-specific go-to-market solutions.
  • Good understanding of industry-specific business issues and drivers.
  • Global Delivery Model experience.
  • Experience managing large multi-location consulting engagement teams.
