Position: Senior Automation Test Lead

This hybrid role, located in Warsaw, requires 2-3 days per week in the office. It is offered on a contract of employment with a competitive base salary plus a financial bonus.

Required Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance manual and automated test suites as products mature.
• Possess strong experience with JAVA and API testing.
• Extensive experience in automation tools like Selenium or Cypress (Cypress preferred) and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Proficiency in API testing and database testing, including the ability to run database queries.
• Foster an environment of innovation and collaboration within Quality Assurance.
• Collaborate closely with program managers, development leads, test leads, and production support teams to ensure the highest quality software.
• Explore, test, and configure not just technical flows but actual business transactions, providing deep insights.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and QA methodologies, quality processes, defect tracking systems, and change management.
• Drive and promote a quality culture both within and outside the Quality Engineering team.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively across product lines and department boundaries to enable functional testing and help engineering teams build out tooling.
• Deep understanding of test methodologies such as Agile, functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Manage and run the QA cycle as part of the Agile development cycle, working towards sprint closure.
• Work closely with product management teams, assisting with UAT cycles and regression testing applications as necessary.
• Build reliable automated test suites that integrate with project CI and/or nightly build systems.
• Basic understanding of automation testing and performance testing.
• Exhibit discipline, an eye for detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficiently triage and prioritize issues based on impact and scope to ensure the right bugs are fixed.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, agile, and distributed development environment.
• For senior positions, additional responsibilities include ensuring essential procedures are followed and helping define operating standards and processes.

Personal Attributes & Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in functional/automation testing.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree.
