About the Role

Infosys is seeking a skilled, dedicated, and proactive Oracle Database Administrator. The role involves developing guidelines and procedures for administration, maintenance, security best practices, and documentation (SOPs). You will also troubleshoot issues, suggest solutions, and ensure high database performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle databases including RAC, ASM, RMAN.
• Manage Oracle standby maintenance and Dataguard configurations.
• Perform patching, upgradation, and migration activities.
• Optimize and tune databases with drill-down analysis and recovery techniques.
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.

Required Qualifications

Candidate must have at least 4 years of IT experience and 3 years of Oracle DBA experience. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Must be experienced in operating large database infrastructures in mission-critical environments and able to thrive under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and client interaction skills.
• Excellent technical documentation capabilities.
• Experience working in a global delivery model with onsite/offshore resources.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic team environment.
