Corporate Counsel - Americas Sales Region
Infosys Ltd. (NYSE INFY), a global IT Services company with over 200,000 employees and more than $10 billion in annual revenue, is seeking a senior attorney to join the commercial transactions group of our Legal department. This role will have responsibility for the Americas Sales region. About the Role
Infosys Limited is seeking an in-house attorney to join the Americas Legal team supporting the Infosys Sales teams in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. The position will report to a Senior member of the Americas Legal team and will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Negotiating various agreements with external clients and vendors.
- Providing legal and business counsel to internal clients to resolve issues.
- Managing external counsel (as applicable).
- Ensuring that all agreements are concluded in accordance with Infosys’ corporate risk parameters and policies.
- Working or leading various department and organization projects as assigned.
Industry Experience
Infosys provides services to a broad range of customers including, but not limited to, the following industries: financial services, healthcare, consumer products, energy and utilities, media, and communications. The candidate should have experience contracting with customers in these areas, a good working knowledge of the issues that frequently arise, and familiarity with the laws and regulations associated with these industries.
Work Location and Remote Flexibility
We prefer candidates based in our major hub locations (Richardson, TX; Indianapolis, IN; New York City, NY; Phoenix, AZ; and Raleigh, NC or nearby areas), but are open to strong candidates across the U.S. The role offers remote flexibility, with occasional travel for litigation and stakeholder meetings. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Candidates must have demonstrated experience working with State and Federal contracting requirements with applicable regulations.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 8 years’ legal work experience after law school graduation.
- JD from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.
- Must be a member of a State Bar.
- Blend of relevant law firm and in-house experience; preferably transactional IP/IT focused with at least 5 years of prior in-house experience.
- Experience with litigation (including mediation and arbitration); responding to complaints; drafting settlement agreements, etc.
- Experience with state and federal government contracting, including public sector procurement terms and compliance requirements (e.g., FAR/DFARS and state/local government contracting provisions), preferred.
- Excellent drafting skills: demonstrated experience with commercial transactions, specifically the drafting and negotiation of, but not limited to, the following types of agreements: complex master outsourcing services and technology-related agreements; software licensing agreements; software reseller and services agreements; sponsorship and marketing agreements; teaming agreements; RFPs and RFIs; settlement agreements; non-disclosure agreements; statements of work; subcontractor agreements; and cloud hosted services agreements.
- Background in outsourcing, information technology, data privacy, intellectual property, software licensing, export control compliance, SaaS, dispute/conflict resolution, and litigation (preferred).
- Project Management Skills: experience overseeing and closing multiple projects and transactions simultaneously. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.

Compensation and Benefits
Estimated annual compensation range for candidates based in CA / CO / IL / MA / MD / MN / NJ / NY / VT / WA: Min: USD 153,290 p.a. Max: USD 180,341 p.a.
