The Opportunity

The Marketing Manager VidCon will lead general marketing initiatives for the tentpole Anaheim event. This role focuses on driving ticket sales through innovative social and digital marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, email marketing, website oversight, community management, and collaboration with a PR agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic marketing plans to increase exposure, engagement, and ticket sales.
  • Manage third-party media agencies and run weekly campaign meetings.
  • Oversee VidCon’s website with the digital marketing team.
  • Direct creative marketing strategies across all platforms.
  • Optimize email marketing for segmentation and conversion.
  • Establish strategic partnerships and promotions to boost brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timelines and brand standards are met.
  • Manage the marketing budget and advertising buy planning.

Qualifications

Required: 5+ years of marketing experience within entertainment or media, with a preference for event or ticket sales marketing. Candidates should be data-driven, proficient in email and social media marketing, and experienced in managing cross-functional campaigns.
