Job Description
This role is based in our 240 Blackfriars office. We’re looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Marketing Manager – Events to support planning and executing marketing campaigns that drive audience acquisition, delegate conversions, and event revenue. You will report to the Senior Marketing Manager – Events and play a key role in campaign strategy execution, touchpoint optimization and converting leads into paying attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution: Deliver multi-channel campaigns across email, paid social, content syndication, web, etc.
- Audience Targeting: Build and refine audience lists, segments, and personas.
- Conversion-Focused Messaging: Write persuasive copy for emails, landing pages, and other touchpoints.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and optimize campaign performance across channels.
- Sales Enablement: Support the commercial team with sales collateral and lead intelligence.
- Content Repurposing: Collaborate with teams to convert event content into promotional assets.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with design, digital, and external partners for timely asset delivery.
- Media Partner Management: Cultivate relationships with media partners for contra deals and content placements.
- Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and publish organic and paid social content.
Qualifications
Experience in B2B marketing with a focus on events or lead generation is preferred. You must be capable of managing multi-channel campaigns, possess strong persuasive writing skills, and be familiar with CRM and email platforms such as Eloqua, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Marketo. Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven individuals with a proactive testing and iteration mindset will succeed in this role.
Desirable
Knowledge of paid media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads), experience in target-driven marketing, and familiarity with web CMS platforms and basic SEO principles.
