Role Overview
The Marketing Manager – Events role is based in the 240 Blackfriars office. You will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at driving audience acquisition, delegate conversions, and event revenue. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager – Events, you will handle multi-channel campaign execution, performance tracking, and stakeholder management, impacting commercial results directly.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution: Deliver multi-channel campaigns via email, paid social, content syndication, and web.
- Audience Targeting: Assist in building audience lists and segmenting to tailor messaging.
- Conversion-Focused Messaging: Craft persuasive copy for emails, landing pages, and various touchpoints.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report campaign performance for constant optimisation.
- Sales Enablement: Support the commercial team with collateral and lead intelligence.
- Content Repurposing: Collaborate with internal teams to transform event content into engaging promotional assets.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with design, digital, and external partners for timely delivery of assets.
- Media Partner Management: Build relationships to secure contra deals and expand reach.
- Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and publish content while monitoring performance.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with B2B marketing experience, preferably focused on events or lead generation, with a proven track record in multi-channel campaign execution and persuasive, conversion-oriented copywriting. Experience with CRM and email platforms such as Eloqua, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo is essential. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of paid media platforms like LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads.
- Experience in a commercial, target-driven marketing team.
- Familiarity with web CMS platforms and basic SEO principles.
