About the role
Principal Solution Architect Warehouse Management Systems
Join Infor as a Principal Solution Architect for Infor Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), leading a team of consultants delivering implementations to manufacturing clients across diverse industries. You’ll bring knowledge of warehouse business processes and apply your expertise to configure and optimize the Infor WMS application to meet client needs. Your primary focus will be guiding customers through the implementation journey, helping them adopt and maximize the value of Infor’s WMS solution.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
- Act in a consulting role on assigned projects.
- Provide in-depth application and business consultation in targeted processes.
- Analyze customers' business requirements objectives and develops business processes to meet customers' business needs. Model to-be business processes in the Infor application. Document and communicate the planned use of the Infor application.
- Apply Infor implementation methodology and assist customers in using available tools to deploy the Infor solution efficiently.
- Prepare weekly status reports for Infor and client project management.
- Work as an integral part of the project team - coordinating activities with Infor project manager and working effectively with customer and Infor team members of all levels.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with WMS software applications.
- Experience with warehouse activities: Receiving, Putaway, Order Selection, Replenishment, Inventory Control, Shipping and warehouse business processes.
- Experience with the process of warehouse logistics.
- Experience with process analysis, design, and documentation of warehouse business processes.
- Experience in guiding clients through decision-making by presenting solution options based on system capabilities and business impact.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America (US and Canada) 50% or more.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Infor WMS implementation experience (WM 4000, WM 9, SCE) or enterprise warehouse application knowledge.
- Warehouse management experience.
- Knowledge of WMS data structures, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with 3rd party logistics, manufacturing, CPG, or retail disciplines.
