Cybersecurity Intern at InfoDefense
Join InfoDefense for a three-month summer internship offering exposure to business and technical cybersecurity services. Ideal for junior, senior, or recent graduates pursuing degrees in cybersecurity, computer engineering, or related fields.
Internship Details
This internship provides hands-on experience in core cybersecurity service delivery. Areas include:
- Network Security (firewalls, NIDS/NIPS)
- Identity & Access Management (SSO, PKI, RBAC)
- Security Information & Event Management (SIEM)
- Endpoint Threat Protection
- Cyber Incident Response and Planning
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Security Awareness, Vulnerability Management, Auditing and Metrics
Schedule & Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid internship based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Interns are required to commit approximately 24 hours per week.
Qualifications
Candidates must have exposure to key information security functions such as vulnerability testing, role-based access control, SIEM, and incident management. Proficiency in Linux with hands-on experience in scripting (Bash, Python) is required along with exposure to networking, Windows systems, firewalls, IPS, encryption technologies, and related certifications (Network+, CCNA, or Security+ preferred).
