About the role
About Infisical
Infisical is the open source security infrastructure platform that engineers use for secrets management, certificates, and privileged access management. We help developers and organizations securely manage billions of secrets every month including application configuration, database credentials, certificates, and more. We’ve raised $19M from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, and our customers include Hugging Face, Lucid, and LG.
Join us on a mission to make security easier for all developers — starting with secrets management. We’re looking to hire exceptional talent to join us in building the open source security infrastructure stack for the AI era.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Design Engineer who is excited to own and elevate the user-facing experience of our rapidly growing platform. You should excel at creating features end-to-end with a strong focus on look and feel (~30% backend development).Infisical is a deeply technical product with user and developer experience at the heart of our product philosophy. We obsess over product design and have made rounds to redesign just about every part of the platform since inception. Examples of past initiatives include revamping existing features like secret syncs and secret rotation; and developing new product lines ground up such as Infisical PKI and PAM.
You’ll be working closely with the co-founders and engineering team to:
- Revamp and elevate. Continuously improve the look, feel, and usability of Infisical. Rethink navigation, redesign workflows, and raise the bar on every surface of the product.
- Own the design system. Build and maintain a reusable component library that makes it easy for the rest of the team to ship polished UI without getting stuck on design decisions.
- Be the design voice on the team. Work closely with other engineers to unblock them on UX questions, critique implementations, and push the team to make intuitive UI.
- Build end-to-end. Take features from concept to production across the stack, with a strong focus on the frontend experience.
Requirements
- Deep technical mastery of the JavaScript ecosystem, particularly React and TypeScript (3+ years of experience).
- A sharp eye for product design and intuitive UX. When you notice when something feels off, you know how to fix it.
- Exceptional attention to detail and willingness to iterate quickly with feedback.
- Based in North or South America.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with product design or design tools like Figma. You can contribute to the design process, not just implement it.
- Prior experience building or maintaining design systems.
