Pay Range: $38.50 - $41.00/hr
Registered Nurse (RN) Major Duties and Critical Tasks:
- Adheres to guidelines set by the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and nursing judgment.
- Assesses, plans, and evaluates nursing care for patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
- Delivers direct nursing care to patients/residents.
- Implements and evaluates the patient/resident plan of care.
- Directs and supervises other nursing personnel.
- Contributes to the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
- Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use (monitors, infusion devices, etc.).
- Ensures confidentiality and compliance with patient/resident rights.
- Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as needed.
- Conducts self professionally in accordance with unit and facility policies.
- Works rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
Registered Nurse (RN) Required Education and Experience:
- Graduate of a basic professional nursing education program.
- Minimum of one year of medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) or long-term care setting (acute/critical care preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Reliable transportation.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning and delivering nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
