Pay Range: $38.50 - $41.00/hr

Registered Nurse (RN) Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Adheres to guidelines set by the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and nursing judgment.
• Assesses, plans, and evaluates nursing care for patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
• Delivers direct nursing care to patients/residents.
• Implements and evaluates the patient/resident plan of care.
• Directs and supervises other nursing personnel.
• Contributes to the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
• Maintains knowledge of documentation requirements.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use (monitors, infusion devices, etc.).
• Ensures confidentiality and compliance with patient/resident rights.
• Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as needed.
• Conducts self professionally in accordance with unit and facility policies.
• Works rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.

Registered Nurse (RN) Required Education and Experience:

• Graduate of a basic professional nursing education program.
• Minimum of one year of medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) or long-term care setting (acute/critical care preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) of practice.
• Reliable transportation.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning and delivering nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
