Role Overview:

We are looking for a Cyber Security Intern who is passionate about protecting systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and understanding security frameworks. This role provides practical exposure to security monitoring, risk assessment, and basic ethical hacking practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems, networks, and applications for security threats
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing activities
• Analyze logs and identify suspicious or unusual behavior
• Support implementation of security controls and best practices
• Assist in incident response, reporting, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards
• Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends
• Maintain documentation of security findings and processes

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of cyber security principles and concepts
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals
• Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows)
• Understanding of common vulnerabilities and threat models
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to cyber security tools, labs, or coursework
• Basic knowledge of ethical hacking concepts
• Familiarity with security frameworks and protocols
• Understanding of system hardening and basic security practices
