Associate Product Manager
InCred Financial Services is seeking an Associate Product Manager with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Andheri (East), Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
Product Specification & Delivery
Translate customer needs and business requirements into clear, detailed product specifications, one-pagers, and user stories. Work with your manager to write effective specs and ensure functionality is described in sufficient detail. Understand an engineer’s language and ensure your engineering peers are clear about what you ask for. Specifications should be clear enough for AI to read and write working code.
Execution & Collaboration
Partner closely with engineering, design, and business teams for smooth, high-quality product delivery. Make the right trade-off decisions to launch projects on schedule. Maintain excellent hygiene of your product roadmap and have a clear picture of outcomes you and your team bring to the market. JIRA boards should provide confidence in deliverable timelines.
Data-Informed Decisions
Define success metrics for features, ensure proper data instrumentation, and analyze post-launch results to measure impact and recommend next steps. Every problem should have an analytical benefit line-of-sight.
Be the Voice of the Customer
Gather and distill user feedback from various channels (surveys, user interviews, support tickets, data analysis) to develop a deep understanding of user pain points and needs. Empathize with the customer and build the right experience keeping customer values in mind.
Stakeholder Management
Proactively identify and engage with stakeholders across the company, gathering feedback and ensuring alignment on projects. Ensure everyone is on the same page for sequence of execution. Stakeholders should feel heard and obliged to deliver business outcomes.
Qualifications
- BTech/BE from a top engineering school strongly preferred.
- Graduate with 1-3 years of experience and at least 1 year of Product Management experience in the fintech industry (lending industry experience preferred).
- Experience in building for customer support/customer experience teams.
- Adept in using Gen AI to unlock productivity for yourself and others.
- Ability to quickly make no-code prototypes on Lovable/any other prototyping software.
- Working knowledge of SQL & Excel and basic knowledge of APIs.
- Structured thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication (both verbal & written).
- Ability to individually lead mini projects.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment.
- Clearly demonstrable impact in past roles.
- Intellectual curiosity/agility.
