We are investing in our Engineering and IT teams in Brazil, looking for talented individuals to join our financial technology, engineering, database, development, and testing teams.

About the Opportunity

As an SDET I at InComm Payments, you will support both Waterfall and Agile teams with robust automated testing solutions. In this fully remote, CLT position, you must reside in Brazil. You will contribute to quality strategies, validation methods, and best practices across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Python, or tool-specific languages
• Automate regression, integration, and functional test cases following best practices
• Balance manual vs. automated testing efforts to optimize coverage
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve product quality
• Collaborate with Dev, QA, and product teams in a multi-tiered environment
• Estimate testing efforts and timelines for sprints and projects
• Coordinate with third-party teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Write and maintain QA documentation and standards
• Optimize SQL queries and analyze automation script issues
• Report defects with clear documentation and track quality risks
• Support production implementations during off-hour maintenance windows
• Monitor results against technical specs and distribute findings to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher (Technologist Degree or higher)
• 3+ years of experience in test automation using Python and Java
• Experience with automation testing tools (Postman, Robot, SoapUI, RestAssured, Playwright, DevTest, Locust)
• Strong background in white-box and black-box testing in multi-tiered environments
• Familiarity with test frameworks like JUnit
• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and containerized apps (preferred)
• Proven ability to define and maintain QA strategies, policies, and documentation
• Proficiency in IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ
