Millions of messages have already been sent and the goal is to scale to over a billion searchable messages.

About You

As a founding product engineer at InboxApp.com, you will help scale the foundation of Inbox. This role requires strong backend development skills in TypeScript/Node.js and hands-on experience building high-throughput messaging systems that handle tens of thousands of messages per hour. You should be comfortable with large, real-time datasets and understand the challenges of multiplayer/team-based products. Familiarity with Cloudflare Durable Objects, distributed infrastructure, or AI-powered messaging systems is a bonus.

Your Role

• Scale the infrastructure to support millions of messages reliably in real time.
• Build AI-driven features to make communication faster, smarter, and personalized.
• Create multiplayer experiences that sync seamlessly across teams and devices.
• Reconcile fragmented user information into one unified view.
• Collaborate directly with founders and early customers to ship quickly and iterate on improvements.
