As the Head of Valuation and Reporting at Impact Fund Denmark, you’ll step into a unique role where your valuations directly support investments that build greener, fairer, and more inclusive societies across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and parts of Europe.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you’ll take the lead on valuing a diverse portfolio of unlisted investments, preparing quarterly investor reports, and providing analytical support to investment teams. You’ll lead a small, highly skilled team that works closely across departments and international offices, in an organization where finance truly meets purpose.
You will work closely with our large and international investment team in developing both pricing and valuation tools and methods, as well as guiding the investment teams.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with recurring valuation cycles and investor reporting, but also have the chance to drive improvements, contribute to new processes, and support the implementation of new systems as Impact Fund Denmark continues its exciting growth journey.
Your primary tasks:
- Lead the Valuation team and drive improvements of methods and ways of working
- Prepare valuations of portfolio investments for quarterly reporting and investor updates
- Prepare quarterly external investor reports and financial reporting to the board
- Support Senior Management as well as IFDK Board with Ad hoc Analysis of the Portfolio as well as PnL explanations and insights
- Support investment professionals with financial analysis, modelling, and valuations for new investments and exits
- Identify opportunities for process simplification and automation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional offices to ensure high-quality data and reporting
Location:
The position is based in Copenhagen at our brand-new premises in Østbanegade, close to the metro and S-train station.
The team:
You will lead a small, highly skilled Valuation and Reporting Team consisting currently of three. The team is responsible for financial modelling, valuation of portfolio investments, ad hoc analysis on PnL and investor reporting, as well as joins investor meetings. With a broad range of internal stakeholders, the role involves collaboration across all levels of the organization, including close interaction with Impact Fund Denmark’s regional offices.
The Valuation and Reporting team is part of the Risk function. The two other teams of this function is Credit Risk and Treasury – a total of 9 highly skilled and dedicated colleagues. The team will grow to a size of 11 during 2026. One position will be added to Valuation and Reporting and one to Credit Risk.

Your qualifications & experience:
- We imagine you hold a relevant master’s degree, such as cand.merc.fir. or equivalent, and bring at least 5 years of experience from financial analysis, preferably in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity.
- You have already been a leader or entails interpersonal skills, interest in other people and willingness to take on a position as team lead.
- You have a strong track record in valuations and are confident working with complex financial models, as well as a good overview of the auditors requirements and tasks in a valuation team.
- You’re proactive, flexible, and able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines with precision.
- You communicate fluently in English.
- You are skilled in Excel, ideally with experience using Bloomberg or similar financial platforms.
- As we use a large number of data from databases, excelling in data processing languages such as Sql and/or Python are a plus.
