Impact Advisors is seeking a motivated and experienced Epic Implementation Change Management Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead organizational change management activities in support of Epic implementations and optimization initiatives across healthcare organizations.
As an Epic Implementation Change Management Project Manager, you will partner with executive leadership, clinical stakeholders, operational teams, and IT to drive adoption, readiness, and engagement throughout the Epic journey. You will be responsible for developing and executing change strategies, communication plans, and readiness activities to ensure successful transitions and sustainable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Leading change management efforts for Epic implementations from planning through go-live and stabilization.
- Developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, and readiness assessments.
- Managing small to medium-scale projects with moderate complexity, including timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies related to change management workstreams.
- Partnering with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to support adoption and alignment across impacted groups.
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and leadership sessions to drive awareness, alignment, and engagement.
- Creating and maintaining communication materials, training readiness plans, and adoption metrics.
- Identifying resistance risks and developing mitigation strategies to support successful transformation.
- Supporting end-user readiness activities, including training coordination, workflow validation, and go-live preparedness.
- Tracking change-related KPIs and providing regular status updates to project leadership.
- Contributing best practices and lessons learned to continuously improve change management methodologies.
- Traveling, as necessary, to client sites to perform required tasks.
- Interacting with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff in one-on-one and group settings.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience supporting organizational change management within healthcare IT or Epic implementations.
- 3+ years of experience managing projects involving communications, training readiness, stakeholder engagement, or adoption initiatives.
- Experience participating in at least one full-cycle Epic implementation or major optimization effort.
- Familiarity with formal change management methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, or similar preferred).
- Epic certification or change management certification preferred.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience supporting Epic implementations, healthcare IT projects, or organizational change initiatives.
- Current or prior Epic certification or Change Management certification preferred.

- Proven ability to lead change management efforts within complex healthcare environments.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to translate technical change into clear, user-friendly messaging.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive risk identification.
- Experience developing communication plans, readiness assessments, and adoption metrics.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
Additional Information
Ability to travel up to 50–75%, as needed. Work schedule is typically Monday–Friday. At Impact Advisors, we prioritize transparency and equity in our compensation practices. Salary range and bonus eligibility will be based on skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs. ($150,000 - $180,000)
For salaried positions, this role may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Additional benefits and perks may also be available, depending on the position and employment terms. This range reflects consideration of several factors, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
