Job Description

Job Title: L&D & Assessment Support Contractor

We’re looking for a mid-level, full-time L&D & Assessment Support Contractor based in the US or LATAM to help operationalize and maintain high-quality assessment systems, documentation, and data-driven skills workflows for our specialized contractors ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Learning & Development, instructional design, learning sciences, education, or assessment operations, with a strong interest in content quality, evaluation, and structured data workflows.

Candidates with experience as a teacher—especially those who designed exams, evaluations, or grading rubrics—are highly encouraged to apply, though this is not required. Experience supporting data annotation or labeling workflows (particularly where quality, consistency, and guidelines matter) is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assessment Operations & Content Support
  • Support the drafting, refinement, and formatting of assessment items based on Skills Mapping and curriculum frameworks provided by the Head of Skills and Assessments.
  • Ensure alignment with the skills taxonomy, competency framework, and project requirements.
  • Assist with Just-in-Time assessment requests by preparing content quickly and accurately.
  • Conduct frequent quality assurance checks (clarity, accuracy, consistency, alignment).
2. Skills Taxonomy & Documentation Maintenance
  • Record updates to the Skills Taxonomy and Skills Mapping/Matching processes.
  • Maintain clean, up-to-date documentation repositories with proper version control.
  • Distribute and communicate updates to other internal teams.
3. Validation & Performance Correlation Support
  • Help gather and organize performance results (client screeners, project team feedback, live task outcomes).
  • Support validation cycles by preparing summaries, tracking refinements, and logging improvements.
  • Maintain structured records of all changes resulting from validation insights.
4. Data Annotation & Workflow Support
  • Support or maintain data annotation and labeling workflows related to skills, assessments, or performance signals.
  • Follow and help enforce annotation guidelines to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality.
  • Assist in reviewing annotated data for quality issues, edge cases, or misalignment with definitions.
  • Help document annotation standards, updates, and feedback loops as workflows evolve.

Who You Are (Skills & Experience)

Required

  • Excellent English communication skills (near-native written and spoken).
  • Full-time availability and ability to work reliably from the US or LATAM time zones.
  • Experience or education in L&D, instructional design, learning sciences, education, or teaching (teaching preferred but not required).
  • Experience supporting structured data workflows, such as data annotation, labeling, content tagging, or rubric-based review processes.
  • Strong skills in writing, editing, and structuring content.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple parallel workflows.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and basic project-tracking tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing exams, quizzes, or evaluations (especially in an educational or L&D context).
  • Exposure to assessment frameworks, psychometric principles, or evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience working with competency frameworks or skills taxonomies.
  • Familiarity with performance data, rubric-based evaluation, feedback systems, or QA processes.
  • Prior work on AI-adjacent projects involving labeled data, annotations, or quality review.

Success Indicators

  • Assessment content is produced or refined efficiently and aligned with established frameworks.
  • Documentation is consistently updated, accurate, and accessible across teams.
  • Data annotation and labeling workflows are executed with high quality and consistency.
  • Validation cycles run smoothly with reliable data preparation and tracking.
  • Performance feedback data is captured cleanly and fed into central systems.
