Overview
Imagine Learning is seeking a Seasonal Professional Development Specialist. This position is ideal for former teachers or experienced educators who want a flexible, per diem role supporting K-12 professional development.
Responsibilities
You will provide content-specific support, training, and guidance in implementing blended and online learning programs. Duties include delivering workshops and sessions both virtually and onsite, helping educators integrate digital solutions, and assisting with individualized learning path design, classroom assessments, and report generation.
Position Details
- Role Type: PRN/Per Diem
- Flexible work schedule with peak activity from July to October
- Remote work with occasional travel up to 10-20% (valid driver’s license required)
- Competitive fee-based compensation: $550 for a full-day session, $150 for a half-day virtual session, $25 per hour for hourly activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (graduate degree preferred)
- At least 2 years experience in professional development or training (5+ years preferred)
- Current or past teaching certification highly preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms
- Ability to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card (or proof of application within 7 days)
