About The Role
This role is based in Ireland. As a Learning Experience Designer, you will apply content knowledge, instructional design expertise, and accessibility principles to create engaging learning experiences. You will be a key contributor to product development and authoring initiatives ensuring best practices in pedagogy and methodology.
Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design activity prototypes.
- Analyze curriculum standards to develop scope and sequence documents.
- Create content outlines, blueprints and support user testing.
- Consult on documentation and work with cross-functional teams.
- Update existing activities based on usage reports and feedback.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (or in product/instructional design) plus a PGCE/PGDE. A minimum of 2 years overall experience in educational content development, instructional design, or classroom teaching is needed. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary agile team is essential.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of US K-12 education systems.
- Expertise in Universal Design for Learning and Culturally Responsive Education.
- Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1.
Competencies and Behaviours
Key traits include communication, continuous learning, creativity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
