Position Overview

The Data Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution of data solutions for both internal business users and external educational customers. You will craft and execute data product strategies, define roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build analytics tools and embedded data features using platforms like Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop data product strategy, vision, roadmap, and prioritization.
  • Engage with educators and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, data science, and product teams.
  • Leverage AI/ML and advanced analytics to enhance learning products.
  • Champion adoption of Power BI and ensure data quality and governance.
  • Define KPIs, analyze performance, and drive product success.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and refine product direction.
  • Travel up to 20% for meetings with school partners and teams.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Education, Business, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience in data/analytics environments.
  • Experience with Power BI and a background in data science or AI/ML.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure, AWS) and SQL is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, agile team environment.
