Job Description

Technical Lead

iLink Digital is seeking a Technical Lead to perform complex analysis and design software applications to meet established business requirements. This role involves maintaining and modifying software applications, defining specifications for the design and development of enterprise-scale applications, and performing data warehouse and BI development. The ideal candidate will interface with end-users to determine application requirements, analyze, design, and develop modifications to existing systems to enhance performance, and coordinate with the software development team on application analysis, development, and deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex analysis and design of software applications.
  • Maintain and modify existing software applications.
  • Define specifications for enterprise-scale application design and development.
  • Develop data warehouses and perform BI development.
  • Gather end-user requirements for developed applications.
  • Analyze, design, and develop modifications to enhance system performance.
  • Coordinate with the software development team on application development and deployment.

Technical Skills:

  • AWS Redshift, SQL Server DB, CDC (SQL Server), SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, ETL from various sources, Stored Procedures.
  • BIML scripting, database normalization, data modeling, design of database schema/structures, including data integrity constraints.
  • Experience working in a distributed team environment using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in software development.
  • Required experience (3 years with each): data warehousing in AWS Redshift; SQL Server DB; CDC SQL Server; ETL from various sources; stored procedures; gathering requirements; SSAS (dimensional, fact, cube building); SSRS (author, manage, deliver); SSIS; BIML scripting.
  • Experience must include: database normalization, data modeling, design of database schema/structures, including data integrity constraints; distributed team; Agile.
  • May work remote.
