About the role
Warehouse Assistant - PM Shifts
IKEA Peterborough CDC is looking for motivated individuals to join our hard-working fulfilment team as a Warehouse Assistant working Full-time PM shifts. You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by handling goods, working safely around machinery, and keeping things organised with precision and care.
What We Offer
- Start Dates: 3rd & 10th June.
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.45, with an additional Forklift Truck allowance of £1.50 per hour.
- 40 hours per week, working 5 nights out of 7 (including Saturday and Sunday) with set shifts of 14:00 - 22:00.

What You'll Need to Have:
- Previous warehouse and MHE experience is preferred but not essential.
- Motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stay organised, prioritise tasks, and pay attention to detail.
- Self-reliance and motivation to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be over 18 years of age due to health and safety regulations.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day:
- Receiving goods accurately, picking and packing orders, and maintaining stock records.
- Manual handling of heavy stock (training provided).
- Operating machinery such as Forklift trucks and counterbalance/pump trucks to transport goods safely.
- Ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are followed to maintain a secure work environment.
