As a Customer Service Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for independently processing and managing customer orders in SAP – from order entry through to delivery and invoicing. Your focus will be on international customer relations, especially with third countries outside the EU, as well as professional and legally compliant export processing. You will work closely with sales, internal departments, and international partners.

Your Responsibilities

• Complete processing of customer orders in SAP – from order receipt through systematic processing to delivery and invoicing, including price/discount clarification, delivery date monitoring, and master data maintenance.
• Creation, maintenance, and tracking of standard and special offers in the SAP system, including pricing, country assignment, Incoterms, and freight costs.
• Professional and solution-oriented support of international and national customers by telephone and e-mail, including processing of complaints (e.g., transport damage, delivery delays).
• Coordination and ensuring legally compliant export processing for third countries in accordance with applicable export and customs regulations.
• Checking and applying Incoterms as well as clarifying payment and bank securities (e.g., letters of credit, bank guarantees).
• Creation, checking, and management of all export-relevant documents as well as obtaining necessary permits (e.g., BAFA).
• Support in checking customs regulations, plausibility checks, and country-specific requirements (e.g., special packaging).
• Evaluation and selection of suitable transport routes (air/sea/land), including risk and cost analysis.
• Participation in the optimization and documentation of internal processes as well as the creation of best practices.

Your Qualifications

• Commercial apprenticeship or a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in Inside Sales / Customer Service / Sales Logistics (international customers).
• Confident use of the SAP ERP system, especially the SD module.
• Fluent German and English language skills; French and Arabic skills are an advantage.
• Independent way of working combined with good organizational and communication skills.
• Ideally, experience in export processing and handling export control regulations.
