Senior Data Product Manager Business Analyst - Remote - Contract

iitjobs is seeking a Senior Data Product Manager who will be working within the Data Product organization and this role bridges the gap between business stakeholders. With a specific focus on the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle and enterprise engineering applications (PLM, PDM, ERP), this individual will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of data products—from ideation and process mapping to technical development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy & Business Analysis

  • Strategic Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between internal business leaders in Manufacturing/Engineering and the technical data, analytics, and engineering teams.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end data product lifecycle for the Order-to-Cash value stream—overseeing requirements gathering, user story documentation, product road mapping, and agile backlog prioritization.
  • Process Mapping: Understand, document, and map complex workflows where data is produced and consumed across enterprise systems (PLM, PDM, Oracle EBS/SAP).
  • Business Translation: Translate complex business gaps, ROI objectives, and KPIs into actionable data product features, system interaction models, and data flow designs.
  • Adoption & Enablement: Drive user enablement, support change management efforts, and monitor the post-implementation performance of data products.

Key Responsibilities: Data & Technical Execution

  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with data architects and data engineering teams to design scalable data solutions, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
  • Quality & Governance: Define detailed acceptance criteria, develop high-level test plans, and partner with QA to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and governance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Visualization & Insights: Guide the creation of actionable dashboards and business intelligence reporting, performing ad hoc validation using advanced analytics and visualization tools.

Required Skills

  • Enterprise Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing workflows, with specific expertise in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process. Hands-on experience with PLM/PDM applications and ERP systems.
