Job Description
About the Specialist, Operations Support Role
The Operational Support Specialist role provides analytical, operational, and administrative support to MD and VP’s within Hotel Operations. This role focuses on supporting cross-functional operational initiatives, managing reporting and invoicing activities, maintaining trackers and tools, and coordinating special projects to enable effective execution and informed decision making.
Your Day to Day
- Coordinate departmental and cross-functional initiatives, tracking progress, timelines, and costs.
- Review, validate, code, and route invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support project management, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business priorities.
- Compile and present information for senior leadership and governance forums.
- Maintain internal databases, trackers, and reporting tools for recurring and ad hoc reports.
- Run system queries to produce and distribute operational reports.
- Manage special projects by establishing timelines and coordinating actions.
- Provide support for operational planning, scheduling, communications and cost management.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in hospitality, operations, or customer support.
- Experience in project coordination, tracking, documentation, or analytical support.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with familiarity in other tools.
Work Environment
Location: Atlanta, GA. This role follows a hybrid work structure with an expectation of three days per week in the office.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role is $46,226.00 to $70,000. It is also eligible for bonus pay and a comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off, medical/dental/vision, 401K, room discounts, recharge days, and more.
