Intern, Finance

Role Purpose

The Intern, Finance will perform a variety of duties for managers and/or departments of an assigned business unit. This role involves coordinating special projects to support business operations, serving as a resource by answering questions and providing program information, and maintaining departmental paperwork, files, logs, and reports.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate special projects including timeline setup, action steps, and status updates.
• Research and compile moderately complex data using spreadsheets and databases.
• Prepare departmental reports and presentations with summarized data from various sources.
• Monitor and report variances to departmental budgets or track spend information.
• Act as a liaison answering daily inquiries and resolving issues internally or externally.
• Compose and prepare concise correspondence and review documents for accuracy.
• Perform administrative support duties to ensure smooth operation of the work area.
