Job Description
Volunteer UI/UX Design Engineer – Figma & Responsive Design
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Design Engineer with experience in Figma and responsive design to help build and optimize a donation page/feature for our nonprofit platform. Your contributions will enhance user experience and engagement for donors accessing our platform.
Important Notes:
- Applicants must have the required skills and commit 4+ hours/week.

- Candidates seeking CPT/Internships or OPT are not eligible.
- I’ve reserved Wednesdays from 6–7 PM ET for Taproot meetings. Please keep this time block in mind when proposing additional meeting times. No-shows without prior notice will not be rescheduled.
Project Impact:
This project will directly support our mission of improving healthcare access and quality for patients with complex diseases. By strengthening the front-end design and user experience of our donation page, you’ll help ensure our platform reliably attracts and retains donors, enabling better support for patient care.
What We Provide:
We’ll provide API documentation, current database schemas, wireframes, and stakeholder insights, plus weekly check-ins to review progress and answer questions. Your work will be integrated immediately into our platform to improve functionality and user engagement.
