Role Overview

The Specialist-IT Governance & Compliance role at IDFC FIRST Bank ensures that the organization's IT infrastructure, policies, procedures, and practices align with business objectives, industry regulations, and best practices.

Job Purpose

This role develops, implements, and maintains IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL) to manage IT risks, ensure compliance, and optimize IT investments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct periodic IT risk assessments and recommend control measures.
• Ensure IT projects meet strategy, compliance, and security standards.
• Establish performance metrics and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide guidance on IT governance and risk management to teams.
• Coordinate with auditors to facilitate compliance audits and remediate recommendations.
• Identify and implement training needs related to IT governance.
• Participate in IT disaster recovery and business continuity plan development.
• Stay current with IT governance trends and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT governance into business processes.

Secondary Responsibilities

Exhibit strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to mentor and manage a pool of Business Analysts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, Engineering, or Management.

Experience: 5 to 10 Years.
