Overview
As a Veterinary Software Consultant at IDEXX, you will sell our cloud-based practice management software and ancillary products over the phone within an assigned territory. Your success is measured by the number of ARR bookings.
In The Role Of Veterinary Software Consultant
You will be responsible for growing the Cloud PIMS business by:
- Driving sales of the Veterinary Software portfolio to new and existing customers
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining territory and account development plans
- Meeting quarterly and annual quotas
- Maintaining Salesforce with accurate customer notes and opportunity details
- Coordinating sales opportunities across multiple IDEXX products and representatives
- Providing SaaS product demonstrations via webinars and live demos
- Attending industry shows as necessary
What You Need To Succeed
- 4+ years of experience selling Software, SaaS, or Veterinary PIMS
- Ability to negotiate and close sales consultatively
- Capability to absorb and articulate technical information
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport quickly
- Independent and team working skills
- High motivation and goal orientation
- Ability to multitask under competing demands and deadlines
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)
