About the Data Analyst II Role

At IDEXX, as a Data Analyst II in the Veterinary Software organization, you will design, build, and deploy data tools that provide critical insights to the senior leadership team. This role is integral to supporting the company’s financial success by delivering high impact reporting, analysis, and recommendations across the entire software portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful reporting and analysis
  • Design and implement standard and ad hoc tools, visualizations and reports
  • Provide analytical support for multiple initiatives, projects, and programs
  • Present reports, data stories, analysis, and recommendations to business leadership
  • Develop deep knowledge of IDEXX data systems and suggest new data sets
  • Work with various data systems to identify issues and gaps

What You Need to Succeed

Proven experience in quantitative analysis, problem solving, and data visualization using data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake) for 2-5+ years. Proficiency with SQL is required. Familiarity with visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Looker is preferred, or the interest to learn them. You should have an interest in leveraging GenAI and/or Agentic AI to deliver actionable insights and be eager to learn new tools like dbt, Anomalo, or Alation.
