Job Overview

The Inside Sales Manager at IDEC Corporation is responsible for leading and managing a team to achieve revenue growth and expand market share. With a customer-centric mindset, this role involves proactive outreach, lead nurturing, and assisting the field sales team to close opportunities.

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the inside sales team.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to align with company goals.
  • Conduct regular training and provide coaching sessions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and outside sales teams.
  • Manage sales pipeline including qualification, follow-up, and closing.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and negotiations.
  • Engage in outbound calls, emails, and lead generation activities.
  • Conduct research to understand customer needs and behaviors.

Desired Work Experience, Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of inside sales techniques and closing strategies.
  • Technical aptitude in machine control, safety, operator interface, panel design, and automated guided vehicles.
  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in technical or engineering industries.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, e.g. Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
