IDC, a global leader in technology market intelligence, seeks an experienced Editor to join our team. In this role, you will uphold high standards of clarity, accuracy, and consistency in research deliverables while collaborating with analysts across various technology domains.

The Editor is responsible for proofreading, editing, and enhancing market research reports, presentations, white papers, and other written materials. Your work will ensure content aligns with IDC’s editorial guidelines and is accessible for both business and technology audiences.

What You’ll Do

• Edit and proofread a range of documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, style, and structure.
• Ensure alignment with IDC’s editorial and style guidelines.
• Collaborate with analysts, graphic designers, and editorial peers for timely, high-quality output.
• Review technical terminology and data interpretations to improve readability.
• Prioritize tasks based on project timelines and business needs.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve writing quality and tone.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of editorial workflows and guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, communications, journalism or related field.
• Minimum two years of professional editing or copyediting experience.
• Exceptional written English skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with IT industry terms and modern editing tools like Microsoft Office and Grammarly.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with global teams.
