Job Description
About The Role & Team
This Account Executive role is not open at this time; however, IDC is actively identifying and engaging with high-quality candidates for future opportunities. The position focuses on selling IDC's research, data, events, and custom consulting products as part of the Americas Growth Sales Team.
What You’ll Do
- Manage accounts to increase overall YoY Total Bookings
- Plan accounts and manage assigned territories
- Report daily activities and forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual results
- Learn IDC products and services aligned with your territory and competitors
- Assist clients in maximizing their market research investments through contract renewals and account growth
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop opportunities within the account base
What You Bring
- 3+ years of quota carrying technology sales experience
- Strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Proven cold-calling and account development abilities
- Entrepreneurial, motivated, assertive, and collaborative mindset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Market research industry experience is a plus

Compensation Transparency
IDC is committed to equitable pay practices. The expected total annual compensation ranges between $100,000 and $120,000, including base salary and variable compensation, based on location and experience.
