Summary

As a Backend Developer, you will manage data interchange between the server and users. Your role involves developing server-side logic, designing databases, building RESTful APIs, and integrating frontend components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while ensuring high performance and security.

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain server-side logic to ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
  • Implement security measures and data protection practices.
  • Develop and deploy RESTful APIs.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
  • Conduct unit tests and participate in the full application lifecycle.
  • Document development processes and coding guidelines.
  • Support junior developers and adopt best practices.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, proven backend development experience, proficiency in backend languages (Java, Python, Ruby, or PHP), and familiarity with databases and RESTful APIs. Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud services, containerization tools, CI/CD practices, microservices architecture, Agile methodologies, and version control systems.

Compensation & Employment Type

Compensation is commensurate with skill level and geographical location. This is a contract position with the option for full-time based on location.
