About the Senior Regulatory Affairs Project Manager

ICON is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Project Manager to work at the intersection of structural design and testing. This role focuses on validation and regulatory acceptance of ICON's breakthrough 3D-printed structural systems and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets for testing campaigns.
  • Direct comprehensive test plan development and specimen design aligning with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee generation of detailed engineering documentation for printing processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Testing, Hardware, Operations) to successfully complete tests.
  • Manage contracts with external laboratories, consultants, and vendors for project goals.
  • Participate in testing observations and work with stakeholders to resolve conflicts.
  • Conduct analysis of test results and guide team members in performance trend evaluation.
  • Provide regular project updates to the Regulatory Affairs Program Manager and Director.
  • Support regulatory approval processes with testing approaches and technical documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Civil, Structural Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in structural design, testing, and project management.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage external consultants and laboratories.
  • Strong fundamentals in structural engineering, testing equipment, and analytical methods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility within 6 months.
  • Experience with government/regulatory agencies in technical approval processes.
  • Understanding of concrete material science and field construction experience.
  • Familiarity with seismic analysis and 3D printing technologies.

Additional Information
