X-Force Incident Response Intern

Your Role And Responsibilities

If you are passionate about threat hunting and forensic investigations, this role offers a fast-paced environment in global cyber incident response and crisis management. You will join IBM Security’s elite X-Force IR team to:

• Partner with Fortune 1000 clients to deliver business value
• Minimize revenue loss during security incidents
• Leverage IBM's global expertise with local execution

Work Term & Eligibility

This is a 4-month work term commencing in May 2026 located in Toronto or Ottawa. Applicants must be full-time post-secondary students returning to their studies post-term. MBA and PhD candidates are not eligible.

Preferred Education & Experience

Preferred qualification is a Bachelor’s Degree. Applicants should have a track record of academic success, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal skills, and an eagerness to learn. Familiarity with programming and security domains such as Incident Response, Digital Forensics, and Threat Hunting is a plus.
