Your Role And Responsibilities As A Workday Project Manager
As a Project Manager: Workday, you will lead a project team in delivering Workday solutions, ensuring that the project is completed according to the project charter or contract. You will hold performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage Project Plan and Budget: Develop and manage the project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements, including both IBM and client employees and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate Stakeholders: Coordinate and manage the various stakeholders, including the Delivery Leader and Workday and Account Executives, to deliver the project on time and within budget.
- Deliver Project Solutions: Ensure that the project is delivered according to the project charter or contract, meeting the required scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
- Lead Project Team: Lead a project team in delivering Workday solutions, providing strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with Executives: Work closely with the Delivery Leader and Workday and Account Executives in delivering the overall program.
Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.
This role can be performed from anywhere in the US and traveling will be required based on business demands.

- Deep Expertise in Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, including developing and managing project plans, budgets, structures, schedules, and staffing requirements.
- Experience with Workday Solutions: Strong background in delivering Workday solutions, including managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing project teams, providing strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in coordinating and managing various stakeholders, including executives, clients, and third-party vendors.
- Contract Management: Familiarity with managing contractual deliverables and ensuring project completion according to the project charter or contract.
