Introduction

Join IBM's Veeva Practice team as a Veeva Consultant. This role is key in shaping and proposing innovative solutions by leveraging Veeva and IBM's Consulting AI and asset-based capabilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and develop tailored solutions that drive digital transformation within healthcare and life sciences organizations.

Your Role And Responsibilities

  • Partner with IBM account teams and clients to understand business processes and requirements.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and workshops to refine requirements and validate designs.
  • Design scalable Veeva Development Cloud solutions aligned with business and regulatory needs.
  • Architect integrations between Veeva Development Cloud and enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
  • Configure lifecycles, workflows, document types, security roles, and metadata models.
  • Define technical roadmaps, evaluate new Vault releases, and adopt new features.
  • Lead document/data migrations and maintain environment parity across Vaults.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Incorporate IBM's asset portfolio into Veeva-centric solutions.
  • Stay current with Veeva product releases, certifications, and industry trends.
  • Mentor and guide junior technical resources and grow team capabilities.

Preferred Education

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

  • Minimum 3+ years hands-on Veeva experience.
  • Deep knowledge of life sciences regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Experience engaging senior management as a subject-matter expert.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, with experience on major platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior consulting experience with Healthcare & Life Sciences clients.
  • Veeva Certifications required.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Self-starter with capability to lead through complex challenges.
  • Experience in Data Warehousing, Web Services, ETL, SQL, Force.com, FTP, and Batch CSV integrations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, LIMS, healthcare compliance (GxP, HIPAA), and Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
