Your Role And Responsibilities

As part of IBM's software development community, you will work on systems driving IBM Cloud services. Specifically, as a Technical Content Professional, you will design, develop, curate, and analyze the technical content that enables digital self-service for clients. This includes creating in-product assistance, documentation, training materials, and support content to help users understand and effectively interact with complex products. Individuals in this role combine analytical problem-solving skills, growing autonomy, and cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality content solutions that improve customer outcomes and support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

Working alongside architects, developers, and engineers, your work will complement efforts to create reusable, scalable, enterprise systems that enable continuous delivery on-premises and in the cloud. In addition to the above-referenced role specifics, your responsibilities may include a need to:

• Apply analytical thinking to identify patterns, improve workflows, and solve problems with minimal guidance.
• Document and refine existing procedures to simplify team workflows.
• Conduct independent analysis and collaborate with peers to recommend content or process improvements.
• Propose and implement small-scale automation solutions that streamline routine tasks.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Prior (project or internship) experience in technical content creation.

• Generative AI practical application in a development environment, including prompt engineering.
